Cafe Kumbuk – Vegan Options in Colombo

It was almost impossible to find Cake Kumbuk. We tried several times before and gave up. After hearing so many positive reviews about the cafe we were determined to find it. Later we found out that the cafe was attached to Prana Lounge and for that reason, we kept missing the sign for cafe Kumbuk. I am so glad that we found this cafe. It is so beautiful, thoughtfully decorated with a European flair.  There are lots of seatings inside and outside and there were so many people and yet it felt relaxing with a good vibe.

Cafe Kumbuk – Vegan options

The menu had awesome vegan options including the desserts, it was very easy to identify the dishes as they were labelled. We ordered the burger and the chocolate mousse for the dessert. The burger was ok, but the dessert was exceptional. I couldn’t have enough of it. The service was good and the waiters were friendly.

They also have a yoga studio which I decided to join on the day. No reservation needed if you put your name down early enough. I paid 1000 rupees for the class, 150 rupees for the mat and I was good to go. The class last for 1.5 hours and it was the best yoga class I had attended in a long time.

Our day was well spent at the cafe and I will certainly come back.
