Good Market Shop – Colombo (Vegan Shopping)

The Good Market is a small shop where you can find organic grocery items, nuts and seeds to handmade toiletries and cooking spices. Inside the shop, there is a cafe where you can buy drinks juices and smoothies, snacks and main meals.

We normally go there for juices and once I ordered a rice curry. The food gets delivered to them but they make fresh juices in front of you, I totally loved this idea because I always enjoy fresh fruit juices. The shop is totally aware of vegan food which we were very happy of, and can tell you if vegan dishes has been delivered or not. They also sell vegan brownies and cookies which is great. The sitting area is outside and some tables have plugs for your computer if needed.

Once I ordered a juice and it arrived with sugar and salt, I took it back and was happy to pay for another juice without the sugar and salt. The staff were very nice and were happy to make me a drink without charging me again. So I was very impressed with their genuine gesture. I highly recommend this place mainly because of how well they treat the customers.

We mainly go there to the shop to buy Himalayan salt and linseeds and usually end up buying some juice.
