Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions – Vegan-Friendly Place to Stay In Negombo

Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions is a purpose-built health resort offering Sri Lanka that really believes in the ancient healing science of Ayurveda.

What is Ayurveda Therapy?

To those of you who may not know what Ayurveda is, it is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems. It was developed in India 300 years ago. It is mostly based on the belief that our health and wellness lies on a subtle balance between the mind, body and spirit. The goal of Ayurveda therapy is to promote good health and not fight disease.

Their team of trained doctors in their Ayurveda Therapy Centers offer demonstrations and awareness programmes in order for customers to fully understand this traditional science. It’s really fascinating once you get to know the purpose of this therapy and how they do it. There were swimming pools, yoga, meditation, and music therapy services available so our experience was really holistic.

You can experience Ayurveda therapy, indulge yourself with special Ayurvedic meals and beverages for your wellbeing. This place has a very natural ambience and though it is very modern, it gives off this historic, ancient vibe.

The food prepared by specially trained chefs and prescribed by Ayurvedic doctors. It is located in the suburbs of Negombo and approximately 40 minutes away from Colombo.

Restaurant Located in Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilion

Herbs & Spice restaurant is part of this hotel and it is 100% vegetarian with delicious vegan options. My husband and I tried several dishes and we really liked all of them. I for one loved the beet mango salad. It was really fresh and tasty. Their service is also very efficient.

You can order vegan cuisine to your room or enjoy dinner at the pavilion.
