Equipment

  • Rice Cooker
  • Frying Pan

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Brown Rice
  • 1/2 pc Carrot
  • 50 grams Enoki Mushrooms
  • 25 grams Bean Sprouts
  • 25 grams Radish
  • 25 grams Spinach
  • 1/2 pc Zucchini
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1 pc Garlic Minced

Instructions

FOR THE RICE

  • Cook the rice according to the instructions in the package. I used a rice cooker to cook mine. For a healthier version, I used brown rice. You can also use white rice or cauliflower rice for a low-carb version.

FOR THE TOPPINGS

  • Grate or thinly slice a half piece of carrot, mushroom of your choice, and zucchini. As for this recipe, I used enoki mushrooms. Add a pinch of salt and stir-fry in oil.
  • Blanch spinach, bean sprouts for 3 minutes. Squeeze and add 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil. 1/4 teaspoon of minced garlic and a pinch of sesame seeds for extra flavour.
  • Thinly slice a half piece of radish. Add 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder, a pinch of sugar, vinegar and 1/4 teaspoon of sesame oil, and a pinch of sesame seeds.

FOR THE SAUCE

  • Mix 2 teaspoons of soy sauce, a pinch of sugar, a teaspoon of sesame oil, a tablespoon of water and sesame seeds.

COMPLETE DISH

  • Grab a bowl, and put the rice. Top it with all the vegetables prepared and enjoy!
