Cruelty Free and Vegan items that I’ve purchased mainly from iHerb that I would consider purchasing again. The products that I buy are vegan, cruelty-free and don’t contain harmful chemicals (as far as I know). Just because they work for me and/or my husband doesn’t mean it will work for everyone.
I use iHerb a lot mainly because they do deliver to many counties around the world that I usually find ourselves in. The delivery prices are so much cheaper and usually free. They also list production information in a consistent manner and the user reviews are also helpful.

All items are 100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free
Cruelty-free means that the product has been developed without any tests on animals, and vegan means that the product does not include any animal-derived ingredients such as milk, honey, bones and collagen etc.
With that being said, here they are:
Sunscreen that’s innocent, vegan, cruelty free and safe – No animal testing
Think, Thinkbaby, Sunscreen, SPF 50
The facts (according to the manufacturer) that appealed to me
- Reef Friendly Biodegradable
- Broad-Spectrum UVA/UVB
- No Animal Testing (Cruelty-Free)
- Free of biologically harmful chemicals
- Gentle enough for pregnant moms and baby
If it’s suitable for pregnant women and babies then it’s likely to be very safe. So I feel confident about using this product. I use it nearly every day. Unfortunately, it’s not great for my husband’s darker skin as the cream is visible when applied (still usable for him for hiking or on a day at the beach, but not for going to the town on a sunny day.

Mad Hippie, Triple C Night Cream – Great vegan night cream
It’s a night cream that gets absorbed into my skin without any greasy feeling.
I wake up with fully hydrated skin. I’ve only ordered this once, but it’s in the shopping basket because I will be ordering it again.
Sukin, Hydrating Body Lotion, Signature
Deep Steep Therapeutic Foot Cream – Candy Mint
The best foot cream ever! And my husband loves this product too. Using this before bedtime has become a part of our routine.
This cream gives an immediate cooling feeling to the feet that we both love. The smell is refreshing but sweet candy-like, not pungent and very pleasant. I also love how it softens my feet perfectly with its rich texture. Despite the lush texture, it doesn’t leave any greasy residue.
- Made with Essential Oils
Cococare, Africare, 100% Cocoa Butter
Made with 100% African Cocoa Butter.
You can use it as a general moisturizer, but we use it as a lip balm. It smells amazing.
UpCIRCLE Eye Cream With Maple And Coffee Extract
I only need a pea-sized amount every time I use this and it’s enough to make my under-eye areas smooth. It is absorbed easily by the skin without the heavy feeling and does not irritate my skin around the eyes.
- Repurposed Maple and Coffee Extract
Soaps, Face-Wash and cleanser products that are Vegan
Dr. Woods Pure Castile Soap – Almond
I have been using Dr. Bronner’s soaps in the past and I love them. I was looking for a quality alternative and came across Dr. Woods’s soaps.
This Dr. Woods Pure Castile Soap is perfect for people with Psoriasis and Sensitive Skin.
- 100% Vegan
- Paraben and Phthalate Free
Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Face Wash
This product lasts a long time because a small amount is enough for my entire face. I have a combination skin type, and I find it works great for me. My skin is prone to irritation however since I started using this face wash, I haven’t experienced any.
My only minor complaint is that it contains a tea tree that can sting your eyes if applied too close to them. The stinging immediately goes away after thoroughly washing it off.
Bulldog Skincare For Men, Original Face Wash + Aloe Vera, 5 fl oz (150 ml)
Although it’s my husband’s, I’ve used it several times and it leaves a fresh and clean feeling. Light aroma and very pleasant smell.
- 95% Natural Origin* Plant-Based Tube
- “All of Bulldog products are 100% vegan and don’t contain any animal-derived ingredients or by-products”

Petal Fresh, Hair ResQ, Ultimate Thickening Shampoo, Normal Hair
I bought this when after I started noticing that I was losing hair. This was after a few months of living in South Korea where the water is different (probably pH levels, Calcium or other minerals, hopefully not Plutonium). Regardless of the cause, this shampoo was one of the items I bought at the time and I’ve re-ordered it as it’s pleasant and seems effective. I’ve not conducted a scientific study on this, but it feels good to use it and I do feel that my hair volume is back to normal now.
- pH Balanced

Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous 210N Foundation 30ml
I’ve been using this for a long time. I rarely use make-up, so that’s expected. But this particular foundation just works well for me and I’m really happy with it.
It blends well and looks natural and a touch of bronzer on top makes it perfect.
- Cruelty Free
Innisfree, Apple Seed Lip & Eye Makeup Remover
Good quality and it lasts for a long time. It has no scent and does not irritate the eyes.
- Free from animal ingredients
Earth Science, Eye Makeup Remover, Chamomile & Green Tea, Fragrance-Free
This eye make-up remover works very well. It removes eye makeup without causing itching or redness. It has a pleasant texture and the bottle last for a long time. Note: It’s just for the eyes and not the rest of the face.
- Paraben Free
All items listed were paid and purchased using our own money as a normal consumer would. No sponsorships, no incentives for choosing these products. I’ve omitted the ones that I was disappointed by and only listed items that we (my husband and I) were happy with.
I use iHerb particularly because of their reasonable delivery costs to various places that we find ourselves in. As with other posts on this website, the article is written first, and then we add referral links rather than the other way around. As a result, not all products and services will have affiliate links.
